I started Hashira because the merchants I kept meeting had the same story: good business, capable team, and a platform that was being blamed for problems nobody was actually diagnosing. Agencies that quoted bigger, platforms that promised more, and nobody in the room whose only job was to look out for the merchant.

So I became that person. Hashira is a consultancy, not an agency. I don't ship code, I don't resell licences, and I don't take commissions from vendors. What I do is sit on your side of the table and help you see the system you're actually running: so the decisions you make next are the right ones.

Why "Hashira"

柱: The Pillar.

Hashira (柱) is Japanese for "pillar." In a building, pillars don't make the noise, sell the tenant, or get photographed for the brochure. They hold the thing up.

That's the job. A good consultant isn't the loudest voice in the room: they're the reason the room stays standing when the agencies, the vendors, and the boardroom are all pulling in different directions. Quiet, load-bearing, in your corner.

The name also echoes Tron. Fight for the users. In our case: fight for the merchants.

The thesis behind Hashira: that the platform is rarely the real problem, is something I take to the Magento community stage wherever it's invited. Beyond speaking, I also organise Meet Magento Czech Republic, returning in August 2026 after a community revival.
